What is inside

A small cat cafe, drawn across fifty-one full-page scenes: opening up in the morning, the espresso machine, pastries in the case, regulars at the window table, a cat asleep inside a giant cup, closing time. The book is ordered as a day in one place rather than a pile of unrelated pictures, so it reads like somewhere you visit.

Every page is drawn in the bold and easy style: thick outlines of even weight, roughly fifteen to thirty large areas per page, no shading and no fine hatching. That is a deliberate choice. It is the style that works with alcohol markers and with hands that do not want to chase tiny gaps, and it is why a page finishes in one sitting instead of three.

Three cut-out sticker sheets

At the back of the book are three sheets of cafe cats drawn as stickers. Color them, cut along the dashed lines, and use them on cards, journals and gifts.
